MONDAY
7.30pm Prayer Meeting
Our Prayer meeting is held each Monday evening when we come together to hear a short passage from the Bible explained followed by a time of prayer. We pray for our families, friends, communities and the nations. This meeting usually finishes about 9pm.
TUESDAY
1.00pm KYB Study Groups
KYB or ‘Know your Bible’ is a Bible study for women. We currently have 3 groups which meet every Tuesday. One group is held here at Park and the other two groups are held in Park Place and Castle Park.
6.30pm Christian Endeavour
Christian Endeavour is a Kids Bible Club. Children aged 3-10 learn different Bible stories and do various craft activities to compliment the story. They also play games and sing Bible based songs.
6.30pm Bible Study Group in Church
This is a Bible Study open for all people and various ages. The study runs from 6.30pm till 7.30pm enabling parents and grandparents to stay and enjoy studying God’s Word whilst their children or grandchildren are having fun upstairs in Christian Endeavour.
WEDNESDAY
11.00am Service in Ty Gwaunfarren
On the second Wednesday each month we do a service at Ty Gwaunfarren, Gurnos Estate. About ten people come together for worship and to share a word from the Bible. You are very welcome to join us.
7.00pm Oasis
Oasis is for young people (school years 6 – 9) Bible based teaching applying biblical truths to their lives and demonstrating how relevant the scriptures are for them and their generation. Other activities and games are a feature in Oasis.
7.00pm Christianity Explored @ G.C.C.
This is a short course in Mark’s gospel exploring the claims of Jesus and the importance of his life, death and resurrection, This is ideal for anyone who wants to explore what Christianity is really all about. It is held in our Gurnos Christian Centre and lasts about an hour each week.
THURSDAY
7.00pm – 9:00pm Discipleship Explored @ G.C.C.
Discipleship Explored is a weekly Bible Study for Christians to encourage them in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. This is held in our Gurnos Christian Centre.
FRIDAY
5.00pm High Five Kids Club @ G.C.C.
High Five is at Five, starts with children at 5 and is certainly worth a ‘high five’ This kids club is for Primary school children and are encouraged to have fun whilst learning about Jesus through various activities and multimedia.
7.00pm YPs
Young People aged 14+ meet each week at different church family homes to study the Bible, to enjoy fun, food and friendship.
SATURDAY
9.15am Football @ Rhyd y car
Open for anyone who fancies a game of footie. Each game starts with a team talk and prayer.
8.00pm Street Pastors
Members of Park are involved in this ministry each Saturday evening. All street Pastors are committed Christians who desire to take the good news of the Lord Jesus to a dying world. They make themselves available to show care, listen, pray and share the love of God with the people of our town.
SUNDAY
Morning Service @ 11am
Our service each week consists of singing hymns new and old appropriate to all ages. The children participate by either reciting or reading Bible verses (optional). When our Pastor is preaching from the Bible, our children and some young people go upstairs for bible teaching and activities suitable for their respective ages. On the second Sunday of each month we have communion (Lord’s Supper).
Evening Service @ 6pm
Our evening service consists of singing hymns new and old, Bible teaching/preaching and the opportunity to enjoy further fellowship over a cup of tea or coffee. On the last Sunday of each month we have communion (Lord’s Supper).
